About the Project:
The automotive industry is entering a new era defined by software‑defined vehicles, advanced connectivity and increasingly complex digital ecosystems. Among them, Infotainment stands out as one of the most sophisticated and customer‑visible domains, combining HMI, apps, connectivity, vehicle signals, market variants and thousands of user scenarios.
This complexity demands a new generation of intelligent validation systems.
To address this challenge, we are launching an ambitious PhD project focused on developing an AI‑assisted validation ecosystem for CUPRA Infotainment — an intelligent super‑agent capable of transforming how we test, analyze and improve digital vehicle experiences.
The aim of this PhD is to develop an advanced AI‑based framework capable of:
- Executing and improving Infotainment test cases autonomously
- Interacting with HMI screens, vehicle signals, buses, test benches and validation tools
- Detecting unexpected behavior beyond predefined specifications
- Pre‑analyzing failed tests and generating automated issue reports
- Learning from human feedback to increase reliability
- Proposing new tests based on documentation, defects, field claims and customer feedback
- Producing automated status reports and insights
- Exploring hybrid cloud‑edge execution for real‑time validation
The project contributes to improving:
- Validation efficiency and coverage
- Early detection of customer‑impacting issues
- Internal AI capabilities
- Test prioritization based on real data
- Release recommendations
- Customer experience in a key digital vehicle domain

Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Artificial Intelligence
- Master’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields
- Average academic score higher than 6.5
- Advanced Spanish and English
Valuable Experience
- Software engineering, data science or AI
- Python, C++, GenAI, AI agents, ML, data engineering, software testing
- Knowledge or interest in automation and automotive systems
